Company History - from an old photographic album(No.11)

In 1952, Tomizo set about the construction of factory with the progress of his business.
The first factory he built was a wooden building, and the next one was an iron-frame building with a slate roof. Our new factories recently constructed are an air-conditioned ferroconcrete building with ALC (Autoclaved lightweight aerated concrete) panel walls.
Tomizo constructed a new factory before he set about building his own new house. He passed away when his new house was under construction.

Old Nishikicho wooden factory building.	The vacant lot around the old factory now turned to residential area crowded with condos.
The founder supervising the work of construction.	Second-hand iron frames were utilized for the construction of the factory building.
Then Nakacho factory, the place where our head office was later located.	Our old three-storied office under construction.
The office and the factory were under the same roof.	The old factory of Kohara Gear Industry Co., Ltd. in the 1970's.
