From 1945 to 1966, Kohara Gear in its early stage undertook the gear-cutting of gears for multifarious purposes. From that experience it was able to accumulate first-hand knowledge about gears. And that allowed Kohara Gear to develop standardized stock gears. Further, manufacturing a variety of KHK brand stock gears with advanced gear manufacturing facility allowed it deal with customs gears of almost all descriptions. This is the path we followed to become a world class gear manufacturer from a gear workshop
