Company History - based on historic photographic album (No.17)
The founder of KHK joined a factory inspection tour (1960/5/5 - 1960/6/18), that visited 25 factories in 6 countries, organized by the association entitled, 'Japan Productivity Center for Socio-Economic Development'. After coming back to Japan, he wrote a summary report called 'The Impressions I Had of Gear Manufacturers in Europe.'
In the report, the KHK founder detailed gear manufacturers or manufactures of gear-machines in Germany and Switzerland, from about a half century ago. The descriptions in this report detail the reasons of the success and the failures made by the companies who were enjoying growth at that time. And we believe the information is still very helpful for factory management to this day.
